There used to be a time when cookbooks and recipe guides were the sole domain of chefs and food lovers. It was their bible, so to speak. The information contained in those pages was something that only chefs and cooks can understand. For the average person, it was difficult and hard not only to follow the instructions but to understand the process as well since any newbie did not have the faintest idea on what to do.

Any person with the aspiration to cook had to go to cooking classes, seminars and one-on-one training with chefs. Though television already tried to pitch in and try to reach viewers with cooking shows and other similar programs, recipes were still confusing since any viewer had to follow the instruction in real time so as not to miss out on any step. It was informative nonetheless, but still needs improvement.

But nowadays, with just about any information on the net such as online encyclopedias, video instructions and other new stuff that come out. Human consumption for information has tripled over the last decade. And consequently, that hunger for recipes and new delights has also followed that trend simultaneously.

This is no more apparent than in the field of cooking. With daily blogs posted by professional and amateur chefs everyday, there is unlimited resource on cooking recipes. Just about any world cuisine can be accessed anywhere and anytime. In fact, the convenience of accessing online recipes is such a delight that any person with the knack for cooking can try out different cuisines in a week.

With a click of the mouse button, aspiring cooks can view online cooking recipes on video sites. Some can create user groups and fan pages on social media sites, and eventually create a base of individuals with the same interests in cooking; the world has truly gotten smaller and accessible to anyone.

The wealth of information posted in cyberspace for cooks and chefs is unbelievable. Anyone with the desire to cook can start right away. In fact, recipes and books are now obsolete with the Internet. Of course, there will be a couple of exceptions, but on whole scale, just about anyone with a computer can cook.

Certainly, learning to cook is no longer confined in the kitchen. As long as online cooking recipes are available for anyone's viewing, just about any person, of any age can become a chef.
